SHIPPING POLICY

Domestic Shipping (United Kingdom)

Standard delivery time for domestic orders is 7-10 working days from order date. Royal Mail 48 Tracked is our standard postal service, although this is not a guarentee. Customers are required to provide a monitored contact method (telephone number or email address) with their order to enable communication in the event of delivery delays or issues.

International Shipping

We currently offer international shipping to the following destinations:

  • Republic of Ireland
  • Canada
  • United States of America

Delivery Times: Whilst we endeavour to ensure prompt delivery of all international orders, we do not guarantee delivery timeframes and cannot accept responsibility for delays occurring during transit, including those caused by customs processing or carrier operations. No compensation will be provided should such delays arise. 

Customs, Duties, and Taxes: Customers are solely responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and associated fees levied by the destination country. These charges vary by destination and item type and are not included in the purchase price or shipping costs. Orders refused or abandoned due to unpaid customs charges will not be refunded.

Email Requirement: A valid and monitored email address is mandatory for all international orders and will be used for customs documentation and delivery communications. Orders placed without a valid email address will be cancelled and refunded immediately.

Failed Deliveries: International orders returned to us following failed delivery attempts will be refunded minus all applicable shipping costs and any incurred return fees.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY

We regret that we are unable to accept returns on our products.

Faulty or Damaged Items: If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us immediately at shop@mathewsons.co.uk with photographic evidence and your order number. We will assess each case individually.

Authorised Returns: In exceptional circumstances where a return is authorised by the company, the following conditions apply:

  • Items must be returned in their original, unused condition with all original packaging and tags intact
  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
  • We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured postal service, as customers remain liable for items lost or damaged during return transit
